Opera โปรแกรมอินเทอร์เน็ตเว็บเบราเซอร์อีกหนึ่งตัวที่ได้รับความนิยมมากพอสมควร มีจุดเด่นในเรื่องความเร็วในการท่องอินเทอร์เน็ต (ผู้พัฒนาอ้างว่าเร็วที่สุดในโลก) มีอินเทอร์เฟชที่สวยงามน่าใช้ และมีฟีเจอร์ (Feature) ที่ดีหลายๆ อย่าง ถือเป็นทางเลือกเพิ่มเติมนอกจากเว็บเบราเซอร์ยอดนิยมตัวอื่นๆ อย่าง Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer หรือ Google Chrome
วันที่ 1 มีนาคม 2553 ทีมผู้พัฒนาได้ออก Opera 10.50 ซึ่งได้เปลี่ยนไปใช้เรนเดอร์เอ็นจิน (Rendering Engine) ตัวใหม่อย่าง Opera Presto 2.5 ซึ่งทาง Opera อ้างว่า Opera 10.50 นั้น JavaScript engine ทำงานได้เร็วขึ้น 8 เท่า นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่หลายๆ อย่าง ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่างครับ
