Google ออก Chrome 4.1.249.1045 for Windows ซึ่งถือเป็น Stable Update เวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุด ออกเมื่อวันที่ 30 มีนาคม 2553 โดยในเวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดนี้ได้เพิ่มอ็อปชันสำหรับปิดการทำงานของฟีเจอร์แปลภาษา (Translate) และแก้ไขปัญหาสเถียรภาพการทำงานที่พบในเวอร์ชัน 4.1.249.1036 ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่าง

กรณีที่ 3 มีการติดตั้ง Google Chrome เวอร์ชัน 4.0.249.89 หรือ เวอร์ชันก่อนหน้าบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์อยู่ก่อนแล้ว สามารถทำการอัพเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 4.1.249.1045 ได้ตามขั้นตอนดังนี้

3. ในหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ Please close all Chrome windows and restart Chrome for this change to take effect ให้คลิก OK
4. ในหน้าไดอะล็อกบ็อกซ์ About Google Chrome ให้คลิก OK อีกครั้ง
5. ทำการรีสตาร์ทโปรแกรม Google Chrome เพื่อให้การเปลี่ยนแปลงมีผล
